高居翰（1926—2014） 加州大学伯克利分校艺术史和研究生院教授，1997年获该校终身成就奖；亦曾长期担任华盛顿弗瑞尔美术馆中国书画部顾问。2010年，史密森尼学会授予其查尔斯·朗·弗瑞尔奖章（Charles Lang Freer Medal），表彰他对亚洲和近东艺术史的杰出贡献。高居翰教授的著作多由在各大学授课时的讲稿修订，或充分利用博物馆资源编纂而成，皆是通过风格分析研究中国绘画史的经典书籍，享有世界范围的学术声誉。 李 渝（1944— ） 台湾大学外文系毕业，加州大学伯克利分校硕士、博士，师从高居翰。在中国美术方面著有《清末的市民画家——任伯年》、《中国现代绘画中的民族主义与先进风格》、《唯美与现实——文革以后中国绘画》等文。也从事小说创作、文学及影剧评论。
